Shipping


Shipping can be broken down into two main sections:

 

  • All items are shipped ground service.  (Rush delivery is available upon request for items under 75 lbs )

  • We ship with UPS 

We stock a large amount of  the items you see on www.bathheat.com Any item on our website that shows the following inventory status: "In Stock": Usually Ships Same Business Day".  As long as your order is place  before 3pm EST M-F This allows you to receive your purchase in the shortest time possible at no extra charge

 

All freight prices are base on shipping to the lower 48 states…. Items shipping to Alaska & Hawaii will have an additional charge greater then the one posted online

  • -Products that weight more then 75lbs or a bulky in size will  ship via  Common Carrier

  •  

  • On products that weight over 75lbs: Please make sure you leave us a day time phone # so the freight company can call you to schedule a delivery time; someone must be present during the time of delivery.

Product Inspections:
We hope that your order arrives safely and that you are satisfied with your purchase. However, please remember that when the order arrives it is your responsibility to ensure that the product has not been damaged during shipping. Please follow the guidelines below for inspection of your package(s):

For items shipped via freight carrier:
Inspect the box for external damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver.  If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property.

For items shipped via FedEx, UPS or DHL:
If there is any damage, visible or not, you have 3 days to contact us to report the damage. If you do not contact us within 3 days, the merchandise becomes your property.

Again, please take the time to inspect your delivery and if there is any damage be sure to note it on the delivery ticket. If the damage is severe enough to render the product inoperable or unusable, please refuse the shipment and contact us immediately at (800)416-1298.

Rush Delivery
( Over night of 2nd Day)

If you would like to expedite your order and rush deliver a product, please call our Sales Department to inquire about product lead time and availability. If an item is in stock, it will usually ship the same day. If it is not in stock, we may be able to have it shipped directly to you from the manufacturer as soon as it becomes available, or we can arrange to have it delivered to you as soon as we receive it. Freight Damage :

 PLEASE INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT UPON RECEIPT.  
If your product was damaged during shipping, please refuse the package, note the damage on the “bill of lading” and call us immediately.
 
If you receive the product damaged and did not note it during delivery we now have a different problem. Iap-home.com will do everything possible to replace your product. However, different manufacturers and freight carriers have different rules. Following are the “official” rules
All shipments must be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery before signing for the product. The driver is required to wait while you inspect the product. If upon receipt of the package you see visible damage, or suspect concealed damage, you must carefully unpack and inspect the product before signing the bill of lading. If you determine the product is damaged, the shipment should be rejected. If you find the item to be in satisfactory condition, you should accept the item and make note of the visible damage on the bill of lading. If you receive a unit and finds the damage after the driver has left then Iap-home.com must be notified within 72 hours of receipt of the unit to qualify for a replacement unit. Any report after the 72 hours will not be honored. Once Iap-home.com has been made aware of the damage the carrier will be notified. Shipments that have been accepted, but have concealed damage will take longer. A detailed description of the damage is needed to file a claim with the carrier. In some cases (usually based on value) the carrier may request to inspect the unit. The original packaging must be kept for this inspection. If the original packaging is not available the carrier instantly denies the claim and Iap-home.com will deny the claim also.
 
If a replacement is needed, a new order must be placed with Iap-home.com.

Damage Allowance
When a consignee is willing to accept an allowance in lieu of a return and replace, iapsales.com will offer up to a 10% to keep as an allowance.
 
In all cases, except Damage Allowance, the following guidelines will apply or Credit will be denied.
 
· A Return Authorization number must be assigned.
· All units must be in original carton with all accessories included
· The product must be in the condition stated on the Return Authorization i.e. D.O.A must be defective etc….
